Renee Ries

Renee founded Fairchild Record Search in 1980 at the age of 22. Fairchild provides nationwide document filing and retrieval services for commercial clients. A native of South Dakota, she graduated from Freeman HS in 1976 serving as the first female Student Body President, and received an AA degree in Liberal Arts from St. Martin’s University in Lacey, 1994. Activities include board member and past president of the Olympia Symphony Orchestra; President’s Council at St. Martin’s University; Thurston County Chamber; member of the UW School of Music Advisory committee; former Olympia Rotarian; and is “big sister” of Mariah in conjunction with Big Brothers/Big Sisters of SW Washington. Renee was awarded “Woman of Influence 2010” by the Business Examiner and was awarded “Small Business of the Year” in 2011 by the Thurston Economic Development Council. Interests include literature, poetry, music, working out, animals and college sports (Go Dawgs!). She lives in Olympia with her Wheaten Terrier, Charlie, born June 14, 2017
