As we gear up for our 24/25 season, here are some questions we've received and details to share. We will be adding to this page as we have more information, and receive more questions about all things season and subscriptions!
 
Q: When will subscriptions go on sale? I’m so excited to sign up!
 
A: They are on sale now! Click on the Buy a Subscription button above to sign up online, or to print out a paper order form. 
 

Q: I can't wait for the concerts this fall! Can I purchase tickets to Sweeney Todd, the Family Concert, or NYE without buying a season subscription?​

A: Great question! Our current ticket sales focus on season subscriptions for our Signature Series concerts in February, March, and April. One of the benefits of subscribing is the opportunity to pre-purchase tickets for our fall lineup.

If you are interested in our fall concerts, never fear! Orchestra Games Family Concert and Epic Movie Music Battles ! NYE are currently available for individual ticket purchase through the Washington Center!

Q: What can we expect for ticket pricing? Everything seems to be going up these days.
 
A: We are committed to keeping our concerts accessible and affordable, while also generating the revenue necessary to support our hard-working, professional musicians and fund our educational and outreach initiatives.
 
Our ticket pricing will remain roughly the same for 24/25, with some slight rounding up or down. In addition, we are experimenting with a ticket sales structure many orchestras and theaters are currently implementing.
 
We will offer subscription packages in the Orchestra, Loge, and Mezzanine levels only (not in the Balcony). When concerts are opened to the general public, only these three levels of seating will be available for purchase. Once these levels reach a predetermined capacity, the Balcony will then be opened for ticket sales.
 
If you are a subscriber and your price zone or seating location is adjusting due to the above changes, rest assured; we will be reaching out to you soon to ensure you have a positive subscription renewal process!
 
We are pleased to continue offering the following subscriber benefits:

• 15% discount on our subscription concert series package

• 20% discount on Sweeney Todd tickets (our exciting fall 2024 co-production with Harlequin!)

• 15% discount on our EPIC Movie Music Battle! NYE concert

As always, we have the following discounts available for single ticket purchases:

​

• Military, Students, Seniors, Groups 10+ = 10% discount on individual tickets (excluding Sweeney Todd)

• Student Rush tickets available on concert days, two hours before showtime
   

Please note, the Washington Center's Ticket Service Fees for the 24/25 season will be $6/ticket/concert for adults and $4/ticket/concert for students. 
 
Q: There are fewer Sunday matinees for subscription concerts next season, and the concert times throughout the season seem to all be different. Why is this?
 
A: Scheduling our concerts can be challenging at times! We share the beautiful performance space at the Washington Center with several other amazing South Sound artistic organizations. Because of this, we Washington Center Artistic Partners have weeks when each of our organizations typically perform year after year, and our schedules fall into patterns. Sometimes these patterns coincide with other immovable global and national events.

 

In 2025, the OSO’s traditional Sundays fall on Super Bowl Sunday and Easter. Because of this, we have moved these concerts to Saturdays to avoid potential conflicts with other activities our patrons may be engaged with on those Sundays.
